Chart of Twelves
Tribes, Stones, Qabbalic Qualities, Commandments, Signs

Note: The first stone
noted under each tribe is the stone name given to the tribal stone on the priestly breastpocket in Exodus [28:17-20/39:10-13] and the second is the name given the same tribal stone in the foundations of the captial city in Revelation 21:19-20. The stones in the two lists are identical; the difference in identity names is due to the translation of Hebrew and Greek into English, not because these are different stones in the two references.

This is the configuration of the twelve stones on

the Breastplate of Judgment,

the Twelve Foundations of Yehuveh’s City

                                Exodus 28:15-21
15  And thou shalt make
the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
16  Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
17  And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even
four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.
18  And the second row shall be an
emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
19  And the third row a
ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
20  And the fourth row a
beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
21  And
the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

Significant Words and Comments
Commentary on Revelation 21:19-20 Chart (4 January 2008):   The tribal order given here comes from Numbers 2, adjusted for corrected translation of the directions. For each tribe this chart provides its astralogical animal symbol from Isaiah 11:6-7 and Ezekiel 1:10; its stone symbols from both Exodus 28:17-20, 39:10-13, and Revelation 21:19-20; its Qabbalic quality; its corresponding commandment in Yehuveh’s twelve foundations, and its sign of Zadok constellation with related astrological information [positive/negative polarity; mutable/fixed/cardinal aspect; water/air/earth/fire quality].
        In addition,
Deuteronomy 27:12-13 states that these twelve tribes serve two purposes: “These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to preserve humility [bless] the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon [ambition], and Levi [spiritual knowledge], and Judah [unity with Yehuveh], and Issachar [wisdom], and Joseph [Manasseh, lovingkindness; Ephraim, knowledge], and Benjamin [sound judgment]: and these shall stand upon mount Ebal to enlighten [incorrectly translated, curse]; Reuben [harmony, balance], Gad [respect, obedience, submission to Yehuveh], and Asher [communication], and Zebulun [understanding], Dan [perseverance], and Naphtali [self-direction, confidence].”
