Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 21:19-20a expansion (26 August 2008):

The Ninth Foundation Stone

“The ninth, a topaz,” representing the ninth commandment [Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Exodus 20:14], therefore identifying the topaz [G5116] stone as representing do not adulterate yourselves or any thing in your lives. The corresponding Hebrew-translated stone from the breast-pocket is amethyst [H0306]. There are no corresponding references from Torah. (26 August 2008)
solidified life-structuring commandment stone corresponds with the tribe of Gad and the constellation Sagittarius. The Jacob’s and Moses’ prophecies regarding Gad are: “Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.” Far too much of our lives involve adulterations of Yehuveh’s ways, from city living and employment for others in artificial careers, to such apparently minor things as ear-piercing and snack foods. Truly we have been overcome by a vast “troop” of adulterations, but in Yehuveh, we will overcome every one of them through heeding His instructions! “Of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad,” that is, blessed and happy are those who advance in their restoration of an un-adulterated lifestyle. The closer we return to living every aspect of our lives in Yehuveh’s ways, the more intensely happy we will be. “He dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.” The decision to reject every aspect of adulteration will mean we must tear away false values and choices, from tearing away actions to tearing away patterns of thoughts. “He provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated,” that is, the first manner of recovering from adulterations is to make personal choices, but ultimately the restructuring must involve regional and national and international restructuring! Ultimately, from the Lamb-king to the common people, all of us will have utterly rejected every artificial and adulterating life choice. “He came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of Yehuveh, and his judgments with Israel.” Ultimately, adulteration of individual and communal lifestyles will be utterly rejected, bringing in the first and only true justice possible to humanity. Without adulteration there can be no greed-driven oppression, no bribery to pervert justice, no corruption of any kind. Genesis 49:19; Deuteronomy 33:20-21.
There are no direct Scriptural references to
Sagittarius. The Sun is in Sagittarius from 23 November to 21 December, depending on the year. During this time we need to do a thorough house-cleaning on all our perverted and confused choices. By comparing every value and every choice to Yehuveh’s instruction, we can identify our adulterations and by prayer we can leave them behind us!
