Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 21:19-20a expansion (26 August 2008):

The Sixth Foundation Stone

“The sixth, sardius,” representing the sixth commandment [Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work.” Exodus 20:9-11], therefore identifying the sardius [G4556] stone as representing six days of work. The corresponding Hebrew-translated stone from the breast-pocket is diamond [H3095]. (26 August 2008)
        The only
apparent corresponding reference from Torah is Jeremiah 17:1 “The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars.” However, the word here translated diamond [H8068: shamiyr, “a thorn; also from its keenness for scratching, a gem, probably the diamond] is not the same as that translated diamond [H3095: yahalom, “a precious stone, probably onyx] in Exodus 28:18, 39:11, and Ezekiel 28:13.
        This
solidified life-structuring commandment stone corresponds with the tribe of Benjamin and the constellation Pisces. The Jacob’s and Moses’ prophecies regarding Benjamin are: “Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf,” that is, those who embrace Yehuveh’s work-six-days-rest-the-seventh life regulation will “pull to pieces” every false system of ordering life. The utter prosperity of living Yehuveh’s way stops the mouth of those who oppose it. “In the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil,” is, the utter prosperity of Yehuveh’s faithful people will consume and absorb all who refuse such guidance. As anciently, those living a false system will “come to poverty” and have no choice but to sell themselves as servants to those who serve Yehuveh. “Of Benjamin he said, The beloved of Yehuveh shall dwell in safety by him,” is, those who yield fully to Yehuveh will safely keep time according to His instructions. “Yehuveh shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between His shoulders.” What assurance of our protection and prosperity in living by Yehuveh’s instructions! There are no direct Scriptural references to Pisces. The Sun is in Pisces from 19 February to 20 March, depending on the year. During this time we need to seriously consider the way we use and regulate our time, both the diligence we give to labor and the total and complete rest we embrace every Sabbath. Genesis 49:27; Proverbs 20:13 [also, Genesis 45:11; Proverbs 6:11; 23:21; 24:34; 28:22]; Deuteronomy 33:12.
