Section 3: Health and Life Choices, Article 3
Restoring Health

Then, when the flood altered all life on this planet, Yehuveh added flesh foods to the diet: Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.” This is not the optimum diet and Yehuveh is calling us back from this choice of nutrition. However, if you choose to continue eating mean, Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 provide statutes regarding Yehuveh’s limitations for optimum health with meat in your diet. Genesis 9:3-4. See Appeal for a Vegan Diet regarding this call back to Yehuveh’s original diet.

Statutes Regarding Hygiene
There are numerous Scriptural statutes regarding cleanliness and personal hygiene. I have here chosen only a sampling. Look up the words
unclean and uncleanness in any Bible Concordance and you will find many more. Unclean is not a word we use much in current English, but it’s simply old English for Strong’s entry H2930: tame', “to be foul, spoiled, or contaminated.” Consider each statute prayerfully, for each one has a very definite impact on your health.

Do not touch the body or discharge of anyone with “a running issue.” “Thus shall ye separate

the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when
they defile My tabernacle that is among them.”
Leviticus 15:31 [2-33].

Do not live in a house with a “plague of leprosy .” “He that lieth in the house shall wash his
clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.”
Leviticus 14:47 [33-57].

Do not touch the dead bodies of “unclean” creatures. “And whatsoever goeth upon his paws,
among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso
toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.” “But all other flying creeping
things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you. And for these ye shall
be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.”

                Leviticus 11:27, 23-24.

Eat only slaughtered meats. “And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that
which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he
shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even:
                then shall he be clean.”
Leviticus 17:15.

These are just samples of Yehuveh’s instructions. Pray Yehuveh will lead you to those insights you and your family need and that He’ll aid you in living them.
This is the path to health!
