Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 22:6 (1 September 2008):   He said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true,” not only establishes the reliability of these writings, but represents the third such affirmation. Revelation 19:9 and 21:5 state the same thing as this verse: “He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohim.” “He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” The Revelation-related decisions we need to make at this time can be made with absolute confidence, based on the assurance that our resources are reliable.

“Yehuveh Elohim of the holy prophets,” presents an interesting reverse of identity. Throughout Torah the faithful, true prophets have always been identified by their association with Yehuveh. Here, however, Yehuveh is identified in His relationship with them! There is no other Scripture with makes the association in this direction! Compare the statements in Numbers 11:29; 1 Samuel 28:6; 1 Kings 18:4, 13, 22; 19:10, 14; 20:35; 22:6, 12, 22, 23; 2 Kings 2:3, 5; 3:13; 4:1; 9:7; 17:13, 23; 21:10; 23:2, 4; 18:11, 21, 22; 20:20; 24:19; 29:25; 36:16; Isaiah 29:20; Jeremiah 2:8; 4:9; 8:1; 13:13; 14:13, 14, 15; 23:9, 15, 16, 30, 32; 25:4; 26:7, 8, 16; 27:15, 16, 18; 29:8, 15, 19; Lamentation 2:9; Ezekiel 13:2, 3, 9, 16; 22:28; 38:17; Daniel 9:10; Amos 2:11; 3:7; Micah 3:5, 11; Zechariah 1:4, 6; 7:3, 7, 12; 8:9; 13:2.

“Sent His angel to shew unto His servants,” that is, Yehuveh sent His messengers to show all who serve Him just what to expect. Regarding angel, see notes on Revelation 1:1. Servants, bondmen, all who serve are discussed in notes on Revelation 6:15 and 7:3.

“The things which must shortly be done.” This is the closing echo of the opening statement: “The revelation of the Yehuveh-saved anointed instructors, which Elohim gave unto them, to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass.” As discussed in the notes on Revelation 1:1, this is a clear statement that these events transpire quickly, in rapid succession over a short span of time, namely over the seven-year span from 10 April 2005 to 22 March 2012. Timely insights! We are already more than half way through this history!
