Bible, KJV Translation: 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for Yehuveh God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. |

Significant Words and Comments: Commentary on Revelation 21:22 (30 August 2008): “I saw no temple therein,” is, Yehuveh’s anointed instructors saw no limit to human potential in the protective prosperity of Yehuveh’s dwelling! What an awesome thought! Solomon discussed in in the words, “He hath made every thing beautiful in His time: also He hath set the world in their heart.” In this full knowledge of Yehuveh’s wisdom there can never, ever be a limit to our development! Temple as “the place where we become all we are able to be” is discussed in notes by Revelation 7:15, 11:1, and 15:5. Ecclesiastes 3:11. “For Yehuveh Elohim Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” With the infinite wisdom of Yehuveh and the direct channel to this wisdom through the Lamb-king in his own wisdom and purity, how could we ever reach a limit! Yehuveh Elohim Almighty is fully discussed in notes on Revelation 11:17. The Lamb-king is introduced in Revelation 5:6. Commentary on Revelation 21:23 (30 August 2008): “The city had no need of the sun,” is, this structure of Yehuveh’s instruction had no need of the repetition of enlightenment provided by written documents such as the Scriptures, for there was a living witness in the person and representatives of the Lamb-king and Yehuveh had fulfilled His promise: “I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts.” Jeremiah 31:33. The removal of written documents will be a blessing, for Enoch stated regarding the fall of the heavenly watchers and the subsequent degradation of men: “The fourth was named Pênêmûe: he taught the children of men the bitter and the sweet, and he taught them all the secrets of their wisdom. And he instructed mankind in writing with ink and paper, and thereby many sinned from eternity to eternity and until this day. For men were not created for such a purpose, to give confirmation to their good faith with pen and ink. For men were created exactly like the angels, to the intent that they should continue pure and righteous, and death, which destroys everything, could not have taken hold of them, but through this their knowledge they are perishing, and through this power it is consuming me.” Being limited to written (solidified, permanent) thoughts does not allow for the continual advancement and development which pure truth provides for us. It is like trying to capture the multifaceted life of a child in a single photograph. While communication in writing has allows us some apparent benefits, Enoch is so perceptive in realizing the near-paralyzing impact of taking living thoughts and confining them to static and unchangeable words. We “were not created for such a purpose”! Enoch LXIX:8-11. Regarding the sun as sources of enlightenment, study the notes on Revelation 6:12.
