Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 21:17 expansion (18 August 2008):

Commandment or Structure #12Thou shalt not covet . . . anything that is thy neighbor’s.

Detail #12:2Living Yehuveh’s instructions protects us from coveting. “Make me to go in the path
                of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight. Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not
                to covetousness. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken Thou me in Thy way.”
                “The law of Yehuveh is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of Yehuveh is sure, making wise
                the simple. The statutes of Yehuveh are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of Yehuveh
                is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of Yehuveh is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of
                Yehuveh are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired
[earnestly coveted] are they than
                gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”
Desiring Yehuveh’s
                wisdom foremost does not mean living in poverty and obscurity.
“There is treasure to be desired and
                oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.” “Happy is the man that findeth
                wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. . . . Length of days is in her right hand; and in
                her left hand riches and honour.”
The difference is balance. Those who set their priority on
                Yehuveh and His wisdom gain all things in perfect equilibrium; those who seek wealth and materialism
                first may gain their goals, but do so at a loss of both physical and spiritual balance.
Only Yehuveh
                can offer us true and lasting prosperity.
Psalms 119:35-37; 19:7-10; Proverbs 21:20; 3:13-16.
                Also:
Genesis 2:9 [“made Yehuveh Elohim to grow every” thing desirable, everything “pleasant to the
                eye”
]; Exodus 18:21; 1 Kings 8:58; Job 28:15-17; Psalms 10:3; 51:10; 119:72, 127; 141:4;
                Proverbs 3:13-15; 8:10, 11, 19; 16:16; Song of Solomon 2:3; Isaiah 58:10-11; Jeremiah 32:39;

Ezekiel 11:19, 20; 33:31; Habakkuk 2:9.
                      Yehuveh’s name for Daniel was literally
“the coveting one,” “the one who greatly desires,”
                translated
“greatly beloved” in Daniel 9:23; 10:10-11, 19. Daniel’s desire for Yehuveh and His
                wisdom was so utterly intense that it motivated His every thought and action. Whether the diet in
                the kings court or the threat of being thrown to the lions,
nothing was more important to him
                that maintaining his intimate relationship with Yehuveh.
Indeed, Daniel is another role model
                to copy!
“Ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:13. Also: Leviticus 26:40-45; Deuteronomy 4:29-31; 30:1-20; 1 Kings 8:47-50;
                2 Chronicles 6:37-39; Psalms 91:15; Ecclesiastes 8:17; Isaiah 55:6, 7; Hosea 5:15; 6:1-3;
                Amos 5:4-6;
Zephaniah 2:1-3.

   Yet one more aspect of our own right doing relates to the covetousness of other: “For I will cast
                out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders:
neither shall any man desire thy land, when
                thou shalt go up to appear before Yehuveh thy Elohim thrice in the year.”
If we do as Yehuveh
                asks of us, not even those around us will be permitted to covet and take our possessions. What an
                awesome “security system” to put in place over our lands and houses. It is Yehuveh’s everlasting
                covenant:
Do as I instruct you, and I will take care of you! Exodus 34:24.
