Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 21:17 expansion (27 July 2008):

Commandment or Structure #1Thou shalt have no other Elohims before Me.” In Hebrew this verse
        literally reads,
“You must not put your elohims in My face.” Elohims include our (1) self-direction,
        (2)
wisdom, (3) understanding, (4) mercy, (5) justice, (6) virtue, (7) stability, (8) integrity,
        (9)
balance, and (10) lovingkindness toward others. At any point where we place our opinions
        above Yehuveh’s instructions in any of these areas, we make an idol of it and put that idol
        in Yehuveh’s face
. Like a two-year-old, we are blatantly telling Him, “I’ll do it myself!” This
        attitude is idolatry
. Regarding these qualities of elohims, see notes on Revelation 19:4.

Exodus 20:3. (27 July 2008)
                   Scriptures present these twelve amplifications and applications:

Detail #1:1Yehuveh alone is holy and worthy of our worship. “Who shall not fear Thee, O
                Yehuveh, and glorify Thy name? for Thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and
                worship before Thee; for Thy judgments are made manifest.”
Yehuveh is “glorious in holiness,”
                “a just Elohim.”
Revelation 15:4; Psalms 29:2; Isaiah 45:21. Also: Leviticus 11:14-15; 19:2;
                20:26; 21:8; Deuteronomy 32:4; Joshua 24:19; 1 Samuel 2:2; Psalms 22:3; 89:18; 99:3, 5, 9;
                111:9; 145:17; Isaiah 5:16; 6:3; 57:15; Habakkuk 1:12;
Revelation 3:7; 4:8; 6:10.

Detail #1:2Yehuveh loves us “with an everlasting love.” “Yehuveh came from Sinai, . . . from His
                right hand went a fiery law for them. Yea, He loved the people; all His saints are in Thy hand:
                and they sat down at Thy feet; every one shall receive of Thy words.” “Yehuveh will not forsake
                His people for His great name’s sake: because it hath pleased Yehuveh to make you His people.”

                It is only because Yehuveh loves us without change, without our earning this love, that He can
                establish a restoring relationship with us. This intimate relationship makes Him worthy of our
                unshared devotion. No other bond makes us whole or bring
“everlasting joy.” Jeremiah 31:3;
                Deuteronomy 33:2; 1 Samuel 12:22; Isaiah 51:11
. Also: Exodus 19:5, 6; Numbers 14:8;
                Deuteronomy 4:37; 7:7-9; 9:4, 5; 10:15; 33:3; 2 Samuel 22:20; Psalms 17:7; 44:3; 47:4;
                103:17; 115:1; 147:19-20; Isaiah 41:8-9; 43:4; 45:17; 54:8, 9; Hosea 11:1;
Zephaniah 3:17;

Malachi 1:2.
