Revelation 21:14-05

Re-evaluation Translation:
(Repeating) 21:14 The protective structure around Yehuveh’s people is based on twelve foundation principles, defined as the twelve core structures of the Lamb-king.

Commentary on Revelation 21:14 continued (20 July 2008): “The wall of the city had twelve foundations,” that is, twelve fundamental principles on which all the rest of the moral code is established. Torah presents these twelve commandments or foundation structures in Exodus 20:3-17 and Deuteronomy 5:7-21.

Significance: More than sixty times throughout the book of Ezekiel Yehuveh describes events which
will bring men to “know that I am Yehuveh.” Most of these events are traumatic, involving
war, violent natural disasters, destruction, famine, and raging disease. Then in the center
of this discussion He provides a softer alternative: “I gave them My statutes, and shewed them
My judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. Moreover also I gave them My
Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Yehuveh that
sanctify them.” If we will allow Him, Yehuveh will elevate us through the hours we spend with
Him on His Sabbaths! Special opportunities are uniquely reserved for these appointed times of
meeting with Him: “Thus saith Yehuveh Elohim; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward
the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the
day of the new moon it shall be opened. And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of
that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt
offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall
go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening. Likewise the people of the land shall
worship at the door of this gate before Yehuveh in the sabbaths and in the new moons.”

Yehuveh’s Sabbath is explained in Leviticus 23 to include the seventh-day weekly Sabbaths
(50 per year), the monthly New Moon Sabbaths (usually about 18 per year), the annual festival
Sabbaths (four Sabbaths beginning and ending the two weeks, and two sets of six days between
Sabbaths, which are not considered Sabbaths but will greatly bless us if we reserve them for
Yehuveh), and a couple of extra set-apart days, The Feast of Seven Sabbaths (Penticost) and
the Day of Restarting (Atonement). When all the Sabbaths are tallied, there are some 82-84
