Bible, KJV Translation: 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. |

Re-evaluation Translation: 21:5 The Lamb-king who sat upon the throne said, Behold, all things are renewed. He commanded, Establish this: for these words are true and reliable. 21:6 The Lamb-king declared, It is complete [on 8 March 2011]. I now encompass all tribes, from Judah to Naphtali. And I will give every thirsty person unlimited access to all original sources of the wisdom of life. |

Significant Words and Comments: Commentary on Revelation 21:5 (19 July 2008): “He that sat upon the throne said,” speaks both of Yehuveh, who will “reign for ever and ever” over all the earth, and of His appointed human representative, the anointed Lamb-king, who now sits on the throne in Jerusalem. “Behold, the days come, saith Yehuveh, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.” Exodus 15:18; Jeremiah 23:5. “Behold, I make all things new,” echoing the opening words of Revelation 21:1 of a completely “new heaven and . . . earth.” “He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” Write, discussed in notes on Revelation 1:11 and 14:13, requires that something is established and made permanent. Revelation 19:9 likewise declared “These are the true sayings of Elohim.” Revelation 19:11 and 22:6 make very similar statements. Yehuveh leaves no doubt as to the verity, and therefore of the fulfillment, of His statements! Every detail of His message in Revelation will happen! Commentary on Revelation 21:6 (19 July 2008): “He said unto me, It is done,” is clearly repeating the incident described in Revelation 16:17 and anchoring the timing of this completion to the end of the seventh and last societal-changing reformation: “The seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.” Awesome! Coming near the end of the sixth Year of Returning (Darius), this is the date emblematically referenced by Ezra: “This house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king,” that is, 8 March 2011. Ezra 6:15. “I am Alpha and Omega,” is discussed by Revelation 1:8 and used only in Revelation 1:8, 11; 21:6; 22:13. “The beginning and the end,” from Judah to Naphtali, descriptive of all twelve tribes of Israel in their appointed order, as discussed in the notes on Revelation 1:8. This phrase is used four time in Revelation 1:8; 3:14; 21:6; 22:13. “I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” Both Yehuveh and His anointed Lamb-king provide that everyone now has unreserved access to the original source of every insight and wisdom which will bring them life. This access has been available to a very few, such as Enoch, Solomon, Elijah, and Ezekiel, with profound results: “Enoch walked with Elohim: and . . . Elohim took him.” “Elohim gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart.” “Elijah . . . . said, See, thy son liveth.” “Ezekiel is unto you a sign.” Life, from zoe [G2222, source of our word zoology, thus of zoo also], means “life, the state of one who is possessed of vitality or is animate; every living soul; absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical; real, genuine life; a life active and vigorous.” Zoe is used fifteen times in Revelation [2:7, 11; 3:5; 11:11; 13:8; 17:8; 20:12, 15; 21:6, 27; 22:1, 2, 14, 17, 19]. Freely, used only in Revelation 21:6 and 22:17, is from dorean [G1432], meaning “freely, without restriction; without cause, undeservedly.” Athirst is discussed by Revelation 7:16; fountains, by Revelation 8:10. Genesis 5:24; 1 Kings 4:29; 1 Kings 17:23; Ezekiel 24:24. Gael Bataman Originally Written: 19 July 2008 Latest Update: 19 July 2008 Return to Zadok Home Page Continue . . .
