Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 18:5 (27 June 2008):  “For her sins have reached unto heaven,” that is, both her attitudes and actions contrary to Yehuveh’s instructions have extended to encompass all humanity excepting those who have a firm covenant commitment to Yehuveh. Sins is from hamartia [G0266], meaning “to be without a share in; to miss the mark; to err, be mistaken; to miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honor, to do or go wrong.” Hamartia is used only three times in Revelation [1:5; 18:4, 5]. Reached is from akoloutheo [G0190], meaning “to follow, join to, accompany; take sides with,” and is translated follow or followed in all six remaining passages [Revelation 6:8; 14:4, 8, 9, 13; 18:5; 19:14]. It is not only that their sins have reached Yehuveh’s pre-set limit, but they have followed, indeed pursued, everyone and have overcome all who are not united with Yehuveh. Regarding heaven, see Revelation 4:1

“God hath remembered her iniquities.” Elohim has kept a faithful record of all acts and purposes of mankind and will judge and reward each accordingly. “Now will He remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.” “They consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before My face.” See the discussion of Yehuveh’s remembrances in notes on Revelation 2:5; 3:3; and 16:19. Remembered, from mnemoneuo [G3421], meaning “to be mindful of, to remember, to call to mind; to think of and feel for a person or thing; to hold in memory, keep in mind; to make mention of,” is used only three times in Revelation [2:5; 3:3; 18:5]. Iniquities, used only here in Revelation, is from adikema [G0092], meaning “a misdeed, evil doing, doing wrong.” Hosea 8:13; 7:2 [also consider: Hosea 9:9; Exodus 20:3; 32:34; Amos 8:7 ].
Scripture is very clear that Yehuveh will return to every individual just what he has handed out:
“His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.” “His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.” Psalms 7:16; Proverbs 5:22 [also: Judges 9:24, 57; 1 Kings 2:32, 44; Esther 9:25; Psalms 109:17, 18; Proverbs 5:22; Isaiah 3:10; Ezekiel 17:19; Hosea 4:9; Joel 3:4, 7; Obadiah 1:15; Zechariah 1:6].
