Revelation 16:3

16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
Re-evaluation Translation:
16:3 The second message widely broadcast Yehuveh’s instruction to the uninstructed, bringing life to the dead until every living person became complete.
Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 16:3 (17 April 2008): “The second angel poured out his vial,” that is, the second righteous reformation which must be clearly communicated was broadcast to all people. Pour is generously distributing to everyone everywhere, as discussed in notes on Revelation 16:1.
“Upon the sea,” as discussed in the notes on Revelation 6:14, describes people who have had no instruction in the ways of Yehuveh.
“It became as the blood of a dead man,” is, “this second message brought life into existence for those who had been lifeless in their ignorance of Yehuveh’s instruction.” Became means “to come into existence,” as discussed in notes on Revelation 8:2. Blood is the Scriptural symbol of life, as stated in Genesis 9:4 and discussed in Revelation 1:5. Dead man is from nekros [G3498], “being destitute of life, lifeless; physically or spiritually dead,” as discussed in considerable detail in the notes on Revelation 11:18.
“Every living soul died in the sea,” every person who had been uneducated before, but who became alive by this message, was brought to completion. Living is from zao [G2198], meaning “to live, breathe, be among the living; to enjoy real life; to be fresh, strong, efficient, full of vigor, powerful.” Zao is used fifteen times in Revelation [1:18; 2:8; 3:1; 4:9, 10; 5:14; 7:2, 17; 10:6; 13:14; 15:7; 16:3; 19:20; 20:4]. Souls is from psuche [G5590], meaning “breath, vital force, seat of the feelings, desires, affections and aversions,” as discussed in notes on Revelation 6:9. Died is from apothnesko [G0599], meaning “to bring to an end (thus, to complete); to die, naturally or violently; of plants drying,” and is used six times in Revelation [3:2; 8:9, 11; 9:6; 14:13; 16:3]. Apothnesko is from two words, the primary particle apo [G0575] meaning “separation, from, out of, off from,” and thnesko [G2348], meaning “to end; to finish; to complete, bring to a complete end; to die, to be dead; to be spiritually dead.”
