Re-evaluation Translation
7:2  Levitical teachers arise as the knowledge of Yehuveh increases, confirming Elohim’s covenant with many: and these teachers, who now had ability to turn the undecided and ignorant, cried with a loud voice to the four sections of Israel.

Bible, KJV Translation
7:2  And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 7:2 (15 January 2008):   “And I saw another angel,” messenger, communicator, spokesman. From the time Israel was judged for worshipping the golden calf, one tribe ever stood distinct from all others, the tribe of Levi. In unique and powerful ways, they linked Israel with Yehuveh. “Ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that My covenant might be with Levi, saith Yehuveh of hosts. My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared Me, and was afraid before My name. The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with Me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of Yehuveh of hosts.” Can Yehuveh speak more clearly than that?! Malachi 2:4-7. Also consider Malachi 3:1; Isaiah 42:19; 44:26; Haggai 1:13 [note that Haggai means “festive,” symbol of the appointed festivals; the weekly, monthly, and annual appointments of Yehuveh are powerful messengers/communicators of righteousness].
        In Greek, the word
east is not present, but rather the phrase “rising of sun.” These terms are in no way equal when you consider the significance of sun as discussed in Revelation 6:12. As the knowledge of Yehuveh increases in the earth, from amidst those confirming their covenant with Him anointed Levitical instructors “ascend” as teachers. “The law of truth” is in their “mouth, and” they will “turn many away from iniquity.”

“Seal,” in Greek is sphragis [G4973] “confirmation,” speaking directly of Yehuveh’s final “confirm[ing of] the covenant with many”!

“The four angels,” the four sections of Israel still scattered in all nations.

“To whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,” here speaks of Israel’s instruction of the uncommitted and ignorant, not of destruction of wickedness “when all the wicked and godless are to be removed” from the earth, when Yehuveh hands the sword to the people. Isaiah 66:19; Enoch I:1; XC:19.
