Revelation 5, Page 12

Bible, KJV Translation
5:13  And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Re-evaluation Translation
5:13  And every transformed person which is under Yehuveh’s care, and willing to serve Him, and those raised from burial in earth and at sea, all of them, I heard saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and dominion, be to this monarch whom Yehuveh has placed upon the throne, the
Lamb-king for ever and ever.

Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 5:13 (8 January 2008):  “Creature,” from the Greek word ktisma, [Strong’s Greek Dictionary entry G2938] literally speaks of anything “founded or created.”

Ktisma is used only here and in Revelation 8:9. From that verse, ktisma refers to people or animals, but in this verse this word is speaking of the peoples of the nations.
In addition, examining the source of this word presents a significantly different picture from what is generally assumed in reading this passage. The basic Greek root verb,
ktizo [entry G2936] means “to make habitable, to people, a place, region, island; to found a city, colony, state; to form, shape, to completely change or transform.” Ktisma is used here specifically to describe the transformed people! Every transformed individual will praise both Yehuveh and His raised-up monarch.
        Compare the same expression in
Revelation 5:3.

“Which is in heaven,” that is, under Yehuveh’s protection. Study the notes on Revelation 4:1.
Scriptures give us a clear definition of
earth: Elohim called the dry land earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He seas.” The Hebrew word for earth, 'erets [Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary entry H0776], means essentially the same as the corresponding Greek word, ge [G1093], having the same range of meanings we give earth in English: “arable land; the ground; the main land as opposed to the sea or water; the earth as a whole; the earth as opposed to the heavens; the inhabited earth, the abode of men and animals; a country, land enclosed within fixed boundaries, a tract of land, territory, region.”
        Contrasted to
heaven [“those devoted to Yehuveh and under His protection], earth implies those not decidedly devoted to Yehuveh, but not among the wicked.
        These
“transformed people” had not rebelled against Yehuveh, but they simply didn’t know Him. These are the “creatures” who are “on the earth.” Being teachable, they were “transformable.” Those who had died in the past and been raised to life are the “transformed” people who were “under the earth.”
        Likewise, transformed people
“such as are in the sea” include all the non-rebellious who died there and had no land burial. Genesis 1:10.
In this praise, no one is left out! Yehuveh includes
all that are in them.” “Happy is he that hath the Elohim of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yehuveh his Elohim: which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: . . . Yehuveh loveth the righteous: Yehuveh preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked He turneth upside down. Yehuveh shall reign for ever, even thy Elohim, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye Yehuveh.” Psalms 146:5-10
This is a powerful affirmation of Job’s certainty that
“in my flesh shall I see Elohim: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold.” Yehuveh will resurrect all who, not being wicked, died on this planet. Elijah and Elisha each raised a child to life; Ezekiel 37 speaks clearly of restoring life to the whole house of Israel.” Job 19:26-27; 1 Kings 17:22; 2 Kings 4:35; 8:1, 5; 13:21.
