Revelation 3:8-9
Revelation 3, Page 6

Re-evaluation Translation
3:8  I know your doings: see, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have gained strength, and have made My word your own, and have not denied My name.
3:9  Behold, I will make the assembled opponents, which say they descend from Judah [Jacob], and do not, but do lie; behold, I will make them come and worship before your feet, and know that I have loved you.

Bible, KJV Translation
3:8  I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
3:9  Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 3:8 (11 December 2007):  “Works,” doings, your conduct and achievements. See note on Revelation 2:2.

“An open door, and no man can shut it,” ties back to the notes on Revelation 3:7. The truths which are restored at this time, Yehuveh’s eternal truths, can never again be removed by anyone!

“A little strength” in Greek flows from the previous phrase to say, “no one can close truth to you for you gained strength.” Truth forms barriers against lies! We are forever changed by accepting Yehuveh’s truths!

“Hast kept My word” is “have guarded [or regarded, honored, yielded to] My word.” David valued this life-choice. “I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Thy word.” “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept Thy word.” “Deal bountifully with Thy servant, that I may live, and keep Thy word.” Psalms 119:101, 67, 17.

“Hast not denied My name,” is a major restoration. Denying Yehuveh’s name includes every misrepresentation of Him! See on Revelation 2:13.

Commentary on Revelation 3:9 (11 December 2007): When we have been restored to a broad knowledge of Yehuveh’s instructions, Yehuveh Himself “will make them of the synagogue of satan [opposers, antagonists], which say they are Jews [descended of Judah and Jacob], and are not, but do lie” [blasphemers in Revelation 2:9], “to come and worship before thy feet.”
        Even
“the sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet.” After years of oppression, as the wicked see Yehuveh restore His people, they finally “know that I have loved thee.” Humbling indeed! Isaiah 60:14.
