Revelation 1:13-16c
Revelation 1, Page 13

Re-evaluation Translation
(
Repeating) 1:13  And in the midst of the seven enlightening years [in “the acceptable year of Yehuveh” which prepares Israel to be restored] the people are again restored to innocence like Adam’s, entirely clothed with righteousness, and encircled with a Yehuveh-like purity.
1:14  Their minds and their thoughts were pure and righteous, as white as snow; and their insights were as intense and purifying conviction;
1:15  And their steps were solid, refined as metal in a furnace; and their communications were as the sound of many nations brought together.
1:16  And they had in their right hands seven enlivening messages: and the words that came out of their mouths cut to the heart: and their faces shined with powerful wisdom.

Bible, KJV Translation
(
Repeating) 1:13  And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

1:14  His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

1:15  And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
1:16  And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 1:13-16 continued (24 November 2007):
        (9)
“Out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword,” the power of Yehuveh’s word to cut to the heart—either “cutting a covenant” with Yehuveh by cutting away every lie, or being cut off from Yehuveh and His people forever.
        Each of us must determine what this sword cuts for us.
“Incline your ear, and come unto Me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make (cut) an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” If we decline, “There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off.” Isaiah 55:3; Nahum 3:15

        (10)
“His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength” hardly expresses the glorious appearance of Yehuveh’s redeemed!

“Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.” “The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Ecclesiastics 8:1; Proverbs 4:18.
        What a glorious picture of our full restoration!

Restored Israel is indeed to be glorious in its wisdom, devotion, compassion, and unreserved praise of Yehuveh.
        Enoch describes Israel’s first “house,” which must be replaced, as glorious and beautiful. He then compares this “second house” of restored Israel in amazing and powerful language:

        “I went into the tongues of fire and and drew nigh to a large house [ancient Israel] which was built of crystals [
innocence: see Job 28:17, where crystal comes from zekuwkiyth [H2137], from the primary root zakah [H2135], “to be translucent; to be innocent”]: and the walls of the house were like a tessellated floor made of crystals, and its groundwork was of crystal. Its ceiling was [knowledge of astronomy/astrology] like the path of the stars and the lightnings, and between them were fiery cherubim [the four fixed constellations—Leo, Taurus, Acquarius, and Scorpio], and their heaven was clear as water. A flaming fire [intense conviction] surrounded the walls, and its portals blazed with fire. . . .
        “And lo!
there was a second house [restored Israel], greater than the former, and the entire portal stood open before me, and it was built of flames of fire [consecration]. And in every respect it [restored Israel] so excelled in spendour and magnificence and extent that I cannot describe to you its splendour and its extent. And its floor was of fire, and above it were lightnings and the path of the stars, and its ceiling also was flaming fire. And I looked and saw therein a lofty throne: its appearance was as crystal, and the wheels thereof as the shining sun . . . so that I could not look thereon.” Enoch 14:10-19.
