Revelation 1:2-3
Revelation 1, Page 2

Re-evaluation Translation
1:2  Who recorded these words of Elohim, and this testimony of the Yehuveh-saved anointed instructors, and of all things that they saw.
1:3  Blessed are those who read, and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and regard those things which are here written: for their time is now!

Bible, KJV Translation
1:2  Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Revelation 1:2 (23 November 2007): Pronouns are assumed by the translators. Rather than describing the activities on one anointed person, Revelation discusses the activities of all of Yehuveh’s anointed instructors who “bare record of the word of Elohim.” Elohim did all the speaking in Genesis 1 and is used interchangeably with Yehuveh throughout Scriptures, so this is “the word of Yehuveh.”

“Bear witness” reflects on Isaiah 43:10, 12; and 44:8, where Yehuveh stated to Israel, Ye are My witnesses . . . and My servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no Elohim formed, neither shall there be after Me.” “I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are My witnesses, saith Yehuveh, that I am Elohim.”
        The mis-translated phrase,
“the testimony of Jesus Christ,” is literally “the communicated instructions of the Yehuveh-freed anointed” spokesmen.
        These
anointed instructors faithfully record “all things that they see.” Twelve times in Revelation the anointed instructors are commissioned to write what they see [1:11, 19; 2:1, 8, 12, 18; 3:1, 7, 14; 10:4; 14:13; 19:9; 21:5].

Commentary on Revelation 1:3 (23 November 2007): This is the first of seven blessings pronounced in Revelation [1:3; 14:13; 16:15; 19:9; 20:6; 22:7, 14].
Whether we study these things for ourselves or hear them from Yehuveh’s
anointed instructors, the blessing is in guarding and doing what is recorded in “the words of this prophecy.”
        Indeed
“the time is at hand,” for these prophecies began their fulfillment on 10 April 2005, the first day of the solar-lunar year which began these final eight years. We are now in the seventh of these eight years, so the time is indeed at hand! Daniel 9:27.
