Zechariah 2:1-10

Bible, KJV Translation:

2:1  I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

2:2  Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

2:3  And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

2:4  And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

2:5  For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

2:6  Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

2:7  Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

2:8  For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

2:9  For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

2:10  Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

Significance Translation:
Yehuveh’s Fourth Sign in the Heavens:
Zechariah 2:1-13

Go to Zechariah 2:1    [Those who remember Yehuveh] again look upward, and see, and observe [men with extreme anguish encompassing them].

Go to Zechariah 2:2    Then they asked, Where is [this anguish] going? And the messenger answered, To engulg Jerusalem, to determine what is the full measure of its values.

Go to Zechariah 2:3    And, notice, the global famine that communicated with [those who remembered Yehuveh] progressed, and corresponding political oppression progressed,

Go to Zechariah 2:4    And communicated, Hasten, speak to those shaken up by this, assuring them, Jerusalem will soon openly receive a vast multitude of men and cattle:

Go to Zechariah 2:5    For I, says Yehuveh, will be unto her a protective wall of conviction and instruction round about, and will be the self-value in the midst of her.

Go to Zechariah 2:6    Alert! Awaken! And flee from the dwellings of darkness, says Yehuveh: for I have dispersed you everywhere by warfare, famine, oppression, and disease, says Yehuveh.

Go to Zechariah 2:7    Deliver yourself, O Returning Ones, that have lived with the lies of confusion.

Go to Zechariah 2:8    For thus says Yehuveh over everything; Seeking true self-value, I send instruction and punishment unto the nations which oppressed Israel: for everyone who touched them touched Yehuveh’s most sensitive nerve!

Go to Zechariah 2:9    For, notice, [Yehuveh] will move His hand upon the nations, and they will be a spoil to those who had served them: and thus you will know that Yehuveh over everything has sent those who remember Him.

Go to Zechariah 2:10 Sing and rejoice, all taught by true repentance (Zion): for, look, I come, and I will forever dwell amidst you, says Yehuveh.
