14:10 All the land shall be turned as flat croplands from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be exalted, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.

Commentary on Zechariah 14:9-10 (23 April 2009): “Yehuveh shall be king over all the earth,” a simple, comprehensive statement of how this story ends! Both Daniel and Revelation clearly present the same reality: “In the days of these kings shall the Elohim of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Yehuveh, and of His anointed [appointed instructors]; and He shall reign for ever and ever.” Daniel 2:44; Revelation 11:15. “In that day shall there be one Yehuveh, and His name one,” is a clear restatement of Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: Yehuveh our Elohim is one Yehuveh.” Throughout the centuries of human history humanity has created “elohims many, and lords many,” “for according to the number of thy cities are thy elohims.” Now this has forever ended and Yehuveh has again restored all mankind to serving only Him. Once again, every living man, woman, and child knows that “I am Yehuveh, and there is none else, there is no elohim beside Me. . . . That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside Me. I am Yehuveh, and there is none else.” 1 Corinthians 8:5; Jeremiah 2:28; Isaiah 45:5-6. “All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem,” indicating that Yehuveh will restore the earth to productive farmland so His people can “plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.” Amos 9:14.
“It shall be lifted up [elevated, exalted], and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.” Yehuveh’s restoration will be comprehensive and complete, encompassing all His people’s lands.
