Re-evaluation Translation
10:11  They [Yehuveh’s instructors] will travel among the people confronting errors, and will crush uncertainty, and all the established traditions will vanish: and the pride of false religion will be brought down, and the reign of irreligion will utterly depart.
10:12  And these instructors will strengthen the people of the nations in Yehuveh; and these people will walk in all ways in His name, says Yehuveh.

Bible, KJV Translation
10:11  And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
10:12  And I will strengthen them in Yehuveh; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith Yehuveh.

Yehuveh Will Bless Judah and Ephraim: Commentary on Zechariah 10:1-12 (22 February 2009):

Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Zechariah 10:11-12 (22 February 2009):   Yehuveh has promised, “I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, . . . [and] to the isles afar off, that have not heard My fame, neither have seen My glory; and they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles.” “He [more correctly, they, speaking of all of Yehuveh’s servants who are sent to the nations] shall pass through the sea [among all the different people groups of the world;they must do so] with affliction [with a message which must upset and utterly unravel their false past training].” With this message, they “shall smite the waves [utterly crush the variable human opinions] in the sea [among the various societies], and all the deeps [most ingrained and longest established beliefs and patterns] of the river [the flow of human philosophy and social attitude] shall dry up [be utterly removed].” As Yehuveh’s instruction confronts the lies and traditions, “the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. Shall a man make elohims unto himself, and they are no elohims?” Isaiah 66:19; Jeremiah 16:19-20.
“The pride of Assyria [one of the most haughty nations ever to reign on earth, ancestors of many of the subcultures of modern Germany and Iran] shall be brought down, and the sceptre [power to rule and command tribute or service from others] of Egypt shall depart away [that is, shall be forever destroyed].” Assyria, like Babylon, represents the power of false religious beliefs, while Egypt symbolizes all beliefs which deny either the authority of or the very existence of Yehuveh. Both of these belief structures stand in contrast to restored Israel’s right beliefs in Yehuveh. Thus Yehuveh addresses all the beliefs and traditions of the world in addressing Assyria and Egypt. Isaiah 19:21-25 clearly states the final outcome of this confrontation: “Yehuveh shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know Yehuveh in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto Yehuveh, and perform it. And Yehuveh shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to Yehuveh, and He shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them. In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: whom Yehuveh of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel Mine inheritance.”
