Daniel 11:1-45 Text, Page 5 | |||||
Significance Translation: Go to Daniel 11:21 And a person never before esteemed and not from honored royalty [though he must be of the house of David] will arise in his place and enter peaceably and obtain the kingdom in his confirmed appointment. Go to Daniel 11:22 And his presence will birth a mighty cleansing; and he will make the covenant exceedingly prominent. Go to Daniel 11:23 From his covenant unity with Yehuveh will flow elevating reforms, and a few nations will be strengthened [to also serve Yehuveh]. Go to Daniel 11:24 Without warfare, he will enter all secure prosperous regions and will accomplish that which neither his father nor generations before could do; he will distribute among them [the righteous people] the booty and spoil and riches [of rebel nations], and exalt righteous purposes, even restoring right time-keeping. Go to Daniel 11:25 And he [the Lamb-king] will stir up force and courage against the radical Islamic organization Al-Qaeda with a great company [of nations], and Al-Qaeda initiates a battle with a great and very mighty army, but cannot prevail, for destructive designs are purposed against this group. |

Bible, KJV Translation: Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. Daniel 11:22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. Daniel 11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. Daniel 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. Daniel 11:25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. |
