Daniel: Significant Events in the Six Years of Returning (Darius) Daniel 11:16-20 |
Daniel 11:1-45 Text, Page 4 | ||||||
Significance Translation: Go to Daniel 11:16 For Russia and China and their allies take action and do as they please, and none oppose them; and they press on into the land of Israel and the current nation of Israel will be destroyed by their action. Go to Daniel 11:17 For, determined to return to his former global power, the Russian-Chinese coalition employs the generating of fires [nuclear warfare], and Israel cannot withstand this attack and will cease to exist. Go to Daniel 11:18 And turning their face to other habitations, the Russian-Chinese-led coalition will occupy many, and the reproach the radical Islamic organization Al-Qaeda had brought toward them is now returned on its own head. Go to Daniel 11:19 And then turning their attention toward strengthening their own lands, the leaders of Russia and China will falter and fall and soon cease to exist. Go to Daniel 11:20 But standing for what is right, the [restored people of Israel, in a] vehemently driven emigration will swell the kingdom [in the land promised and returned to them], and in a few days burst forth, yet not in passion, nor in battle. |

Bible, KJV Translation: Daniel 11:16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. Daniel 11:17 He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him. Daniel 11:18 After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him. Daniel 11:19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found. Daniel 11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. |
