Waters is from mayim [H4325], meaning “water; fig juice; by euphemism, urine, semen,” and used only twice in Daniel 11-12 [12:6, 7].
River, ye'or [H2975], “channel,” as discussed in notes on Daniel 12:5.
How long, from `ad [H5704/H5703], means “as far (or long, or much) as, whether of space (even unto) or time (during, while, until) or degree (equally with),” as discussed in notes on Daniel 11:10.
