Re-evaluation Translation:
Daniel 11:41  And coming into the swollen land [recently filled by the driven migration of
Daniel 11:20], he will make many tremble; but these break alliance from him: Edom and Moab and the heads of the sons of Ammon [the peoples which comprise Jordan’s population].

Bible, KJV Translation:
Daniel 11:41  He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

Significant Words and Comments:

Commentary on Daniel 11:41-42 (11 November 2007):  “He [the leader of the Russian-Chinese coalition] shall enter also into the glorious land,” states what Ezekiel 38:8-9 describes: “In the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which . . . shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, . . . and many people with thee.”
“Many countries shall be overthrown” as this Russian-Chinese coalition’s army advances to the restored nation of Israel and beyond. Since Yehuveh promised Abraham, “Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates,” it is essential that these lands be cleared. At present they are occupied by portions of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Egypt, Ethiopia, and other smaller nations. Genesis 15:18.
“But these shall escape [slip] out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon,” the nations which mostly comprise the nation of Jordan at this time. No explanation is provided for why these nations slip out of Russia and China’s grasp, but note that these were the three nations which Yehuveh would not allow Israel to destroy when they came out of Egypt: “take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau;” “I have given Ar unto the children of Lot [Moab],” “the land of the children of Ammon . . . I have given it unto the children of Lot [Ammon] for a possession.” Deuteronomy 2:4-5, 9, 19.
