Re-evaluation Translation:
Repeating) Daniel 11:27  And also the kings with hearts bent to do evil, seeking global unity and propounding lies, will not prosper until [Yehuveh’s purposes reach their] completion at their beforehand-appointed time.
Daniel 11:28  But they will return to their lands with great wealth; and with their hearts set against [Yehuveh’s] holy covenant, they establish their lands [in rebellion].

Bible, KJV Translation:
Repeating) Daniel 11:27  And both of these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

Daniel 11:28  Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

Significant Words in Daniel 11:28 (9 November 2007): 
Return, shuwb [from James Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary entry H7725], is discussed in notes on Daniel 11:9. Shuwb, used twice in Daniel 11:28, is equivalent to most of our English re- words, of which Webster’s Dictionary lists some 150! Shuwb could potentially be translated repeat, replace, renew, review, restore, re-establish, retreat, and so on, according to context. The global leaders who have gathered to establish a global government return to their nations to finalize their purposes.

Riches, equipment, rekuwsh [H7399/H7408], see Daniel 11:13

Great, gadowl [H1419/H1431], as discussed in notes on Daniel 11:2.

Heart, lebab [H3824/H3823], as discussed in the notes on Daniel 11:12.

Against, above, or over, `al [H5922/H5921/H5920/H5927], as discussed by Daniel 11:5. “His heart [their hearts] shall be against the holy covenant” identifies the global rulers’ defiance against Yehuveh and His instructions. 

Covenant, beriyth [H1285/H1262], “compact,” as noted by Daniel 11:22.

Holy, qodesh [H6944/H6942], meaning “a sacred (set apart to a specific or holy use) place or thing; rarely abstractly, sanctity (the very act of being thus set apart).” Qodesh is used five times in Daniel 11:28, 30 (twice), 45; 12:7.

Do exploits,`asah [H6213], simply “to do or to make,” see Daniel 11:3.
