Re-evaluation Translation:
Daniel 11:25  And he [the Lamb-king] will stir up force and courage against the radical Islamic organization Al-Qaeda with a great company [of nations], and Al-Qaeda initiates a battle with a great and very mighty army, but cannot prevail, for destructive designs are purposed against this group.
Daniel 11:26  And destruction of food [famine and pestilence] will destroy them, and their forces will fight among themselves and many will fall down slain.

Bible, KJV Translation:
Daniel 11:25  And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

Daniel 11:26  Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

Significant Words and Comments:

Commentary on Daniel 11:25-26 (8 November 2007):  “And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army.” As Yehuveh’s appointed leader established righteous government over his jurisdiction, which now includes the restored nation of Israel and the nations [“few peoples,” Daniel 11:23] which have chosen to join them in serving Yehuveh, his opposition to the corrupt policies and practices of Al-Qaeda provokes a dramatic confrontation.

“The king of the south [leaders of Al-Qaeda] shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army,” an expected response against restoring Yehuveh’s ways and values, which he recognizes must necessarily destroy all he values!

“But he shall not stand,” a clear statement that Yehuveh destroys Al-Qaeda’s forces by infighting and natural disasters. Though the language of Ezekiel 38-39 graphically describe such a battle, it is not this affront.

“For they shall forecast devices against him,” states that Yehuveh’s restored people have well-established purposes to accomplish, which will come up powerfully against every aspect of Al-Qaeda’s goals and actions.

“Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him,” that is, everything which destroys food resources. This invading army perishes because they destroy their own food in their inter-army fighting and lose the remainder in the natural disasters which Yehuveh sends. Speaking of this mighty invading army, Yehuveh says: “Thou shalt come up against My people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against My land, that the heathen may know Me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.” “I will call for a sword against him throughout all My mountains, saith Yehuveh Elohim: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am Yehuveh.” Ezekiel 38:16, 21-23.

“And his army shall overflow [flee]: and many shall fall down slain.”
