Daniel 11:3 Another mighty sovereign [Kim Jong-Il of North Korea also] increases in power and rules with great dominion and does as he wills.

Daniel 11:3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
Significant Words and Comments:
Commentary on Daniel 11:3 (1 November 2007): With astonishing confidence, boldness, and open defiance, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has taken his position on the world stage, but how little the citizenry of the west understands about the deeper, more subtle purposes of world leaders.
Daniel 11:3 now introduces a second player in this drama, another national leader who came to global prominence since 2005 and who is entirely high-handed and tyrannical, and above all else, totally indifferent to the opinions of others—for he will “do according to his will.” Only the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-Il, has so distinguished himself in this manner in this timeframe. Kim Jong-Il is a determined dictator who has no intention of being told what to do by any power in the world, and with the development of nuclear weaponry and missiles to transport them around the globe, he is well able to back up his determination.
If we have a right understanding of the prophecies of Daniel 11, these two national leaders--Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Kim Jong-Il--are soon to play a major role in the establishment of a global government to which the United States and Europe will fall an easy prey. The collapse of the global economic system, now under the authority of Pascal Lamy, Director-General of the World Trade Organization, and the presence of radical Islamic jihadists scattered throughout all countries who are already completely prepared and in position to take over, will make this transition rapid and inescapable.
As discussed in prophecies dated in the second Year of Returning (Darius) [30 March 2006 through 19 March 2007, Haggai 1:1] Yehuveh has twice tried to prepare us:
[prophecy of 14 October 2006] “Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the
heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations.”
Haggai 1:1; 2:1-7.
[prophecy of 15 December 2006], “I will shake the heavens and the earth; and I will
overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of
the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the
horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.”
Haggai 2:10, 20-22.
Kim Jong-Il of North Korea, like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran, ruled with great power as the fourth Year of Returning (Darius) closed. All things are now taking shape for a mighty expansion of power. Dramatically, Kim Jong-Il is doing just as he pleases and setting the stage for the next events!
