| Summary of
Noah’s Year of Deliverance
Once again, as before the flood of Noah’s time, “the wickedness of man [is] great in the earth, and . . . every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” And once again Yehuveh is bringing cleansing judgments upon the earth. But this time the judgments must be different, for now there are many more than eight people around the globe who have “found grace in the eyes of Yehuveh [the Lord].” Furthermore, Yehuveh has a promise to keep. After the previous flood He promised Noah: “I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” Therefore, though they follow the pattern of those of Noah’s time and have similar cleansing results, the judgments this time will be suited to our time, “a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” We need not blindly enter this time. True to His word, “Surely Yehuveh [the Lord] Elohim [God] will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.” He has told us very much about what lies ahead for us and for the world, and how long it will last. Genesis 6:4, 8; 8:21; Daniel 12:1; Amos 3:7.
Noah and his family represent all the people around the globe who have “found grace in the eyes of Yehuveh.” Therefore their experience now becomes the symbolic story of ours at this time. With appropriate discussion, here is a brief outline of what we can anticipate in this coming year and what we need to do at each point, based on the dates and information recorded in Genesis 7-8. It would be well to prayerfully study Genesis 6-9. The insights therein provided are simple, but so radically different from what our religious instruction has been in the past that it will take time to understand each aspect. Be patient and keep looking at this information until it makes sense.
How can we know that the events described in Genesis 7-8 should be associated with events in 2009-2010? The book of Revelation is the story of seven years, not of seven eras or seven churches as is traditionally believed. These seven years are comprised of the six Years of Returning (Darius) [10 April 2005 through 4 April 2011] and the Sabbatical year of rest [5 April 2011 to 22 March 2012]. Revelation 2-3 gives each of these seven years a designation which the translators [from the original Hebrew text to the Greek text which underlies our English version] misunderstood. These seven designations for the seven years are:
first, the Dispersion Year (Yehuveh’s awakening people are still scattered throughout the world)
[10 April 2005 through 29 March 2006];
second, the Arising Year (Yehuveh’s people are rising up and searching for truth)
[30 March 2006 through 19 March 2007];
third, the Solidifying Year (Yehuveh’s people are confirming their covenant with Him)
[20 March 2007 through 6 April 2008];
fourth, the Swelling Year (Yehuveh’s people are increasing in both knowledge and conviction)
[7 April 2008 through 26 March 2009];
fifth, the Sequestering Year (Yehuveh’s people are secured in protected havens under His
watchcare while global indignation rages) [27 March 2009 through 15 March 2010];
sixth, the Instructional Year (Yehuveh’s people are being established in their covenant relation
and are relearning His ways) [16 March 2010 through 4 April 2011];
seventh, the Taking-Root Year (Yehuveh’s people enjoy an entire year of instruction and being
forever established) [5 April 2011 through 22 March 2012].
