| Explanation of the Twelve Transition Events in
Noah’s Year of Deliverance
|Event 7: The Ark Comes to Rest on Mount Ararat
14 October 2011
On the third day of the Rehearsal (re-hearing of Yehuveh’s ways) of Harvest Ingathering [The Feast of Tabernacles or Booths], “in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month,” “the ark rested . . . upon the mountains of Ararat.” Genesis 8:4.
The ark of the covenant, the confirmation of unity with Yehuveh individually, is now firmly established: “It shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of Yehuveh’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.” Now the foundations have been established in the lives of Yehuveh’s restored people and His kingdom can begin to take shape. Isaiah 2:2 [Micah 4:1].
Now, in righteousness, the ark of Yehuveh’s everlasting covenant comes to rest! Now His kingdom can be established on earth! But the drama is not yet over.
Until all the wicked are removed from the earth, there is yet much to complete. Nonetheless, for every person who “hath set his love upon Me,” Yehuveh now says, “therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.” “Because thou hast made Yehuveh, which is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Enoch 1:1; Psalm91:14, 9-12.
More than ever in our lives, it is time for each of us to “Rest in Yehuveh, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. “Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon Yehuveh, they shall inherit the earth.
“For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” Psalms 37:7-11.
To every person who has not yet accepted His invitation and chosen His ways, Yehuveh now appeals: “Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16.
At this time we can safely anchor on the certainty that every one of us “shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.” We can again wholeheartedly join the psalmist in the praise: “Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for Yehuveh hath dealt bountifully with thee.” Jeremiah 30:10; Psalms 116:7.
