Event 3Forty Days of Rain
20 May through 28 June 2011
The destruction from human violence and natural disasters was particularly intense for this forty-day period, but still presented but a dim preview to Yehuveh’s soon-coming judgments: “For, behold, Yehuveh cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:21.
As discussed in greater detail under the section
Forty Days to Open the Window, every forty-day period represents a major transitional period. This forty-day transition involves the beginning of global socio-economic changes. Quite literally “all hell broke loose,” and for forty days and nights the socio-political upheaval and natural disasters around the globe held everyone’s attention. For very many, Jeremiah’s words described their lives: “Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side.” Jeremiah 6:25.
As in the time of Noah, natural disasters [violent earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, hail, tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, uncontrollable wildfires, etc.] destroyed lives and property. With this destruction followed increased wide-spread famine, and brought on ravaging diseases. These led to panic-driven rioting, and in many areas all-out civil wars. In response,  greed–driven and desperation-paniced governmental leaders imposed the most cruel oppression. Naturally, further protests and uprisings followed rapidly in their wake.
The devastation of these forty days, beyond imagination or description, is just the beginning.
        Yehuveh warns:
“I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith Yehuveh. I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith Yehuveh.” Zephaniah 1:2-3.
The previews we have seen in recent months are nothing to what is yet coming.
