2nd month, 27th day 18 May 2012 Genesis 8:13: “Bringing Forth” from the Ark
On 18 May 2012, one full year after the flood began on 20 May 2011, Yehuveh forever ends the sequestering of His people and brings us out into a new world. “And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. And Elohim spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee. Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him: Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.” Genesis 8:14-19.
With only ten months remaining until Yehuveh’s Jubilee Year ends, there is much to accomplish, very much. The cleansed earth and redeemed nations must be organized and established under Yehuveh’s new global government.
Those of us who have listened to the flood story from childhood know that after one full year, Yehuveh tells Noah, “Go forth of the ark.” Great! At a purely practical level, anciently after a year of confinement with family and a vast variety of “dependent” animals, everyone doubtless had “ark-fever” to the max! It was no question that every creature would gladly “go forth of the ark”! In our time we are also more than happy to leave this old life of economic challenges, corruption, oppression, and crime behind and go forth into a life of prosperity, purity, and peaceful living!
But in symbolism, why after a year or ever, would Yehuveh tell us to “Go forth” from His covenant? He wouldn’t. Rather, we are to “go forth” with His covenant so completely internalized that it goes with us! Thus right now He is appealing: “Turn you at My reproof: behold, I will pour out My spirit unto you, I will make known My words unto you.” “I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.” Genesis 8:16; Proverbs 1:23; Ezekiel 36:27.
Having internalized Yehuveh’s instruction as our own, every one of us will “bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, . . . and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.” Rather than leaving Yehuveh’s ark of the covenant relationship, we are to “bring forth” from this very covenant union the wisdom, strength, and conviction to reproduce [“bring forth”] in others this same love of and reverence for Yehuveh which we have. With every person on earth encouraging and strengthening every other in serving Yehuveh, we will develop a glorious righteous society. We will never leave the ark, just “bring forth” righteousness from it! Genesis 8:17.
