Six Years of Returning (Darius)
10 April 2005 to 4 April 2011
Revelation 1:11 and 3:1-6 identify the fifth Year of Returning (Darius) [27 March 2009 to 16 March 2010] as the sequestering year, the year we would be “closed in” with Yehuveh both for our own protection and to relearn His ways.
Centuries ago, Yehuveh assured Daniel, “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, ad to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.” Now as that time span is nearing its completion, He set events in motion to accomplish this promise. Daniel 9:24.
Significant world-changing events took place in this fifth Year of Returning. To bring the promised end to wickedness and rebellion, Yehuveh sheltered and protected His people while He accelerated global changes which will ultimately cleanses the earth.
In many parts of the earth, events of such global magnitude took place that only by being in Yehuveh’s sheltering care could His people survive.
For many around this globe, it was indeed a challenging time in every way! Men were become increasingly quarrelsome as natural disasters and human oppression remove their resources, leaving them destitute and desperate. Both the righteous and the rebellious were settling into their final position for the closing events.

Year of Triple Harvests
The sixth Year of Returning (Darius) was a very special year for everyone who returned to Yehuveh’s ways. From ancient times Yehuveh had instructed His people, “Six years thou shalt sow they field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; but in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for Yehuveh: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. That which groweth of its own accord of they harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
“And the Sabbath of the land shall be meat for yu; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thyl maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee. And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.” Leviticus 25:3-7.
The sixth year of every seven-year cycle, but most especially the sixth year of the final seven years just before the Jubilee, was a very special year. Knowing that looking ahead to an agricultural year-off would be frightening to people just learning how much He did for them continually, Yehuveh anticipated their anxiety: “If ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase.” So before they entered the experience He made them a profound promise: “I will command My blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.” Awesome promise! Leviticus 25:20-21.
Because the following two years are to provide rest for our lands and ourselves, in this sixth year we were promised a harvest sufficient for all three years. It is so like Yehuveh to not only provide for us, but to do so in a manner that leaves us no room for anxiety or fear! “Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24.
If any part of the return of Israel under Ezra and Nehemiah applies to our experience at this time, we are told that toward the end of this year Yehuveh’s house is completed: “This house was finished on the third day of the month Adar [the twelfth month], which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.” In our time this date fell on 8 March 2011. If this applies to us in our time, is Yehuveh telling us that by this date every descendent of Jacob who will ultimately choose to serve Him had done so? Ezra 6:15.
