“Devil” is used as a name or a title only in the New Testament. The Old Testament speaks of demons and devils, but the two Hebrew words thus translated are never applied to a single being. This Greek word devil comes from Strong’s Greek Dictionary entry diabolos [G1228], meaning “prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely; calumniator,” a descriptive adjective, not a name or title. According to James Strong’s Greek Dictionary, this word is also “applied to a man who, by opposing the cause of Elohim, may be said to act the part of the devil, . . . persecuting good men, estranging mankind from Elohim and enticing them to sin.”
Diabolos [G1228] is from the Greek root verb diaballo [G1225], meaning “to throw over or across, to send over, to traduce, calumniate, slander, accuse, defame,” which is from the combination of dia [G1223], primary preposition denoting the channel of an act, and ballo [G0906], meaning “to throw or let go of a thing without caring where it falls, to scatter, to give over.”
Conclusion from this original language: Anyone who slanders, accuses, or defames another is a devil. What a caution! We must be exceedingly careful how we speak of others.
Devils are all who oppose, slander, accuse, and defame. Pascal Lamy and the WTO employ these “tools” freely.
Third: Who is “Satan, Which Deceiveth the Whole World”?
Like “devil,” satan is a descriptive adjective, not a name or title. The Hebrew word is satan [H7854], “an opponent.” What opponent of Yehuveh’s ways opposes all good? What opponent has done more to deceive the whole world than those who “think to change times and laws,” those who have taught us the Gregorian system of time-keeping and un-anchored finances? And who will struggle harder to keep Yehuveh’s children from correcting these lies? When our research has exposed the true depth of Pascal Lamy’s purposes, we will recognize in the developments of World Trade Organization (WTO) under his leadership the most deadly opponent humanity has ever faced. Daniel 7:25.
Satans are opposers. No one has ever worked harder than Lamy and the WTO to “change times and laws”!
Who are “His Angels” Who are “Cast Out with Him”?
From “the law and . . . the testimony,” mal'ak [H4397, angel] is simply “a messenger; a communicator.” Those who teach, propagate, promote, and, above all, those who believe in the teachings of a particular being or system, become its “angels,”—its messengers, promoters, investors, teachers, preachers, priests, prophets—to convert and educate others. These “angels” did not originate the messages they teach, but they are faithfully passing on what they have learned.
Yehuveh illustrated this with Moses and Aaron. Speaking to Moses, He “said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. . . . And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people.” “And Yehuveh said unto Moses, See, I have made thee Elohim to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.” Exodus 4:14-16; 7:1.
The “angels” of the “dragon”—everyone who believes in and teaches the deceptive, destructive principles of the dragon’s global socio-economic system—will be “cast out” with it.
What a call for every one of Yehuveh’s true people to heed His call: “come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Elohim hath remembered her iniquities”! Revelation 18:4, 5.
