Emergence of the World Trade Organization (WTO) On 13 May 2005 Pascal Lamy was elected (for a four-year term) as Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and took office on 1 September 2005, just five weeks before the astronomical sign of 5 October 2005. Because the WTO is stealthy and subtle, it is rarely mentioned in headline news and very few people realize the power this man and group wield or the impact their actions are having on the lives of individuals or the course of nations. Deeper research will expose the against-Yehuveh’s-ways foundation principles of this international economic leader, Pascal Lamy, and this global-dominating organization. No power on earth is working harder or more effectively to bring about a single globalized government. Their principles violently oppose Yehuveh’s values and instructions for individual self-direction. No wonder there must be a war! Should you wish to study this matter in greater depth for yourself, two websites provide considerable insight and offer links to very much other info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal_Lamy#WTO and http://www.foodfirst.org/progs/global/trade/wto2001/opposition.html. While the World Trade Organization (WTO) came into existence long before the spring to fall of 2005, at that time this organizaiton took a decided step forward and became key players in the unfolding of significant closing events in earth’s history. (2) What are the Characteristics of This Dragon? Scripture twice answers this question: “the great dragon, . . . that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world;” “the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and satan.” Two Scriptures establish truth, as both Moses and Joseph stated: “in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established;” “for that the dream was doubled . . . it is because the thing is established by Elohim, and Elohim will shortly bring it to pass.” We KNOW this dragon is stealthy and destructive! Revelation 12:9; 20:2; Deuteronomy 19:15; Genesis 41:32. But ultimately this answer only gives rise to the three questions: First: Who or what is “that old serpent”? Second: Who or what is “the devil”? And Third: Who or what is “satan, which deceiveth the whole world”? In addition, we must also ask: Who or what are “his angels” who are “cast out with him”? When we have answered all these questions, we will clearly identify all these features in this second “wonder” of Revelation 12 and what to anticipate in the war that must be waged to end this dragon’s global power. How do we answer each question? From Scripture, of course, where we are given only one standard by which to measure truth: “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” What, then, is Yehuveh’s singular measure of truth? Isaiah 8:20. What is the the law? The Hebrew word used here is Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary entry towrah [H8451], “a precept or statute.” Simply put, Torah is “the instruction of Yehuveh,” especially that instruction given us in the first five books of the Old Testament. This is the first half of Yehuveh’s measuring line. What is the testimony? Isaiah says “I took unto me faithful witnesses to record.” When someone testifies, they tell what they know of the events which have already happened, making their testimony a record of their history, the story of their lives. All the “stories of Israel” recorded in the historical and poetic sections of the Old Testament becomes the second part of Yehuveh’s measuring line. Isaiah 8:2. If we cannot support our answers from these two sources, they’re not true. This should cause us considerable concern, even alarm, with several popularly held doctrines.
