Yehuveh adds these assurances: “In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will Elohim appoint for walls and bulwarks. Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in Yehuveh for ever: for in Yah Yehuveh is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:1-4. “Hearken unto Me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is My law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.” Isaiah 51:7. “The redeemed of Yehuveh shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.” Isaiah 51:11. Proclaim this Soon-coming “Day of Vengeance” At this time Yehuveh’s anointed instructors are to proclaim that the day has almost come when Yehuveh will avenge Himself regarding “the quarrel of My covenant” and “will avenge the blood of His servants, and will render vengeance to His adversaries.” Leviticus 26:25; Deuteronomy 32:43. Scriptures very clearly states that Yehuveh “will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant;” that He “will utterly consume all things from off the land,” and “make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.” Jeremiah 34:22; Zephaniah 1:2; Jeremiah 4:7. Whether or not we are convinced that we have a clear Scriptural statement for when this “day of vengeance” is to occur, it is our assignment to announce that it is coming. We are to prepare for the transitions which will follow in its wake. Then with quiet confidence in His sure prophecies, we are to leave the unfolding of events to Yehuveh’s wisdom. When He has accomplished His purposes, the now-existing nation of Israel will be repaid for its treachery, the land will be emptied, and the “recompences for the controversy of Zion” will be over! Isaiah 34:8. Once this horrible day transpires and the promised land is emptied, Yehuveh immediately gathers His faithful and anointed people to restore them to their homeland. Following the day of vengeance, with His people securely sheltered from the coming destruction, Yehuveh’s war against the nations commences in earnest. Daniel 11 tells the details that unfold in this story during this seventh or Sabbatical Year! During the months which follow, with Yehuveh’s judgments in the land, every person on earth must make his final decision as to whose government he will yield allegiance—Yehuveh’s global government which is being restored, or the governments of this world which are seeking earthly security, the cause of those who choose to continue their rebellion against Yehuveh. In this time, Yehuveh’s anointed instructors will comfort and begin to re-educate those who choose to serve Him. Are these things so? We can only know as we prayerfully “seek ye out of the book of Yehuveh, and read: no one of these shall fail.” Isaiah 34:16. When this day occurs is discussed here; what it involves is discussed in the companion article Proclaim The Day of Vengeance. Also see notes on Vengeance.
