Section 2: Practical Wisdom, Article 3
Powerful and Effective Prayer
Page 3

This is full surrender to Yehuveh, fully believing that He lives to bless us, that He loves
us with an unchanging love, and that He is too wise to err and will let nothing touch us but
that which is needed for our development into the very individuals He gave us life to become.
This kind of trust, in a covenant relationship
, is not a magic formula to obtain something we
want from Yehuveh, but rather, is resting in His love and obtaining all that He wants for us!
What
an awesome, privileged life can be ours!

Return unto Yehuveh: “Seek ye Yehuveh while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near:
Let the wicked forsake His way, and the unrighteous man His thoughts: and let Him return unto
Yehuveh, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our
Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”
            Isaiah 55:6-7.

Having a Right Heart: If I regard iniquity in my heart, Yehuveh will not hear me: but verily Elohim
hath heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.”
He that turneth away his ear from

hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” “Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of

the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.” “When ye spread forth your hands,

I will hide Mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands
            are full of blood.”
Psalms 66:18-19; Proverbs 28:9; 21:13; Isaiah 1:15.

Promised Answers

In our confirmed-covenant relationship with Yehuveh, we can fully expect to have our prayers answered--in ways that bless us!

“He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver
        him, and honour him.”
Psalms 91:15.

“For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be
very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when He shall hear it,
He will answer thee.”
        Isaiah 30:19.

                “Then shalt thou call, and
Yehuveh shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say,
Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the
        finger, and speaking vanityr.”
Isaiah 58:9.

“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet
        speaking, I will hear.”
Isaiah 65:24.

                “Call unto Me, and
I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou
        knowest not.”
Jeremiah 33:3.

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Yehuveh shall

be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as Yehuveh hath
said, and in the remnant whom Yehuveh shall call.”
Joel 2:32.

Can we doubt that Yehuveh loves to respond to our honest-hearted cries?
Then we must raise the hand of faith higher and still higher--expecting Him to answer us in magnificent ways!
